This has the potential to fit into a fragrance wardrobe if your nose can handle the leather which can be a bit animalic & hide-like. It may get you noticed in a more positively masculine way if you don't overdo it (i.e 3 sprays on clean skin) Not really bottle worthy for me to buy but I'd occasionally wear it if it was a gift.

I bought John varvatos dark rebel as a blind buy. I'm not exactly sure if I like it. To me it almost smells like cigarette smoke.

Totally disappointed, and angry with this fragrance, smells off, I thought it was just me, my son said it smells like ass, I think it has notes of used colostomy bag left on the hot sidewalk. I'm not sure what Jeremy Fragrance was smoking when he said this smells like a Harley Davidson , cause I don't smell like ass and I ride a Hog , at least I'm told so. Never again,bought five different fragraces from this site, not anymore, this killed my mojo.
