Initially, the patchouli is a little bit earthy, but it settles rather quickly with primarily sandalwood and touches of plum and oakmoss. Some websites have this fragrance listed as feminine, but I would say it works great for a man and can definitely be unisex as well.

Patchouli has been my favorite scent since 1965, but aside from using the essential oil, cannot find a woman's perfume where it is the dominant top note. This fits the bill; although it is labeled for men, it is not overwhelmingly so and the musk adds a really nice note. Highly recommend it.
