Songeswomen

Did not care for Songes it smells like a fragrance for a very, very, very seasoned lady. It’s quite heavy and too woodsy in smell. Returning for a different fragrance.

Annick Goutal Songes edt - it is dreamy! To me, this is what I always wanted a big floral perfume to be like. Not stiff and prim like some white florals seem to me; this is warm right from the first sniff. It also has a beautiful development on skin: first the frangipani; then, the creamy jasmine and ylang with the spices giving the impression of sun-warmed skin; then the vanillic dry-down that just begs me to bring my wrist to my nose to soak up the last wafts of ylang and hot skin mixed with the sweetness of the vanilla. I bought this blind and was not disappointed!
