Aramis Calligraphy Rosewomen

This is truly a unique unisex fragrance. It starts off very ambery/rose and then it mellows to a more spicy/pipe-tabacco fragrance. It’s definitely for the more mature and adventurous wearer. It’s a “heavy” fragrance that lasts well over 10 hours and a very wide silage. I can still smell it on a jacket I wore months ago. It’s beauty in a bottle.

Aramis Calligraphy Rose is a truly gorgeous long lasting perfume. At first it comes a bit harsh, almost to the point that I got upset (I forgot I have a bit problem with a labdanum, which is listed as a note in it in Fragrantica database). But pretty soon that note calms down and it's just one mysterious deep juicy rosy fragrance. It lasts forever. I sometimes can still smell it next morning on me!

So, when I first spray Aramis Calligraphy Rose it's a soapy rose - like "fancy" soaps my grandma or aunts kept in the guest bathroom that you weren't actually supposed to use or touch. About 30 minutes in the spices really bloom and I also get more amber (and whatever else gives this a sort of dark feeling...maybe the Myrrh or Styrax or other notes I'm not too familiar with?) and it becomes more masculine too I suppose - though I think it stays unisex the whole time. This one is really growing on me the more I wear it. It lasts through the whole workday and then some I'd say 10+ hours logevity with moderate sillage. I'd say this is for the winter/cold days only.
