I have worn Mitsouko for over 50 years, I was living in Spain and wearing Shalimar when I was introduced to Mitsouko. I love Shalimar when wearing furs, but Mitsouko is the prime for me. According to my mood and clothing I also wear Jicky which Sean Connery also wore as his cologne. But Mitsouko is my signature fragrance its aroma has layers of mystery and does not disappear after a few minutes.

I have been wearing Mitsouko since I was 16, when my father returned from France with a bottle for me. I have looked at other brands but nothing has ever come close to this wonderful fragrance. I have always worn it every day and my patients and staff always remarked they new when I was in the facility as they could smell my wonderful aroma. I have never worn anything else since that day and my husband of 42 years still loves my aroma. I have other perfumes but they are just not the same.

Why haven't I tried this earlier. I love Shalimar and wore Samsara for years but I never tried Mitsouko. It blends fabulously with my chemistry. It is primarily spicy on me, more like carnations and orange with a woody sandalwood dry down. I love it when it is first sprayed on my pulse points and contrary to some reviewers I do not consider it too strong or overwhelming. Then in about 20 minutes it is a very cosy potpourri smell. It reminds me of the oranges one studs with cloves and hangs in a cedar closet. It's my new favorite.

I was so pleased when i saw this fragrancenet. I used to wear it when i was a teenager and now in my 60s! It's an unusual perfume that can be worn anytime. Its a mixture of chypress and floral to soften the woodsy scent. I love it the only thing now it doesnt last as long as it used to now but always nice to carry the bottle for the extra spray.

Mitsouko is a Winter Wonderland fragrance. Essentially, its dry down equates to aromatic spices (anise, cloves, cinnamon) that rest on a bed of cedar. This is not a spray fest perfume. Pick two pulse points and spray lightly because it is potent. I'll use as a holiday/special occasion perfume during the winter months.
