Boss Bottled Elixirmen

My husband really digs this. There is a little hint of warm/spicy sweetness, you get that cardamom off the top, the incense is readily apparent as soon as you spray it on and that incense lingers; it lingers into the dry down. It has sweetness the whole way through but it's reigned in; on the background but never steps into the foreground. Classy but then at the same time kind of cozy like the type of fragrance to wear around the holidays. It has the performance that you would expect from an elixir fragrance: you can pick it up easily, projects really well, it lasts a long time on my husband's skin, a fall/winter fragrance that leans more toward evening use. It is not similar to the original Boss Bottled EDT. This is one of those flankers where it's an elixir in a line but it doesn't smell like what came before it. Conclusion: My husband and I are loving it, it smells awesome, an extremely solid elixir EDP. You did good Hugo Boss!
