I was hoping this would be a go to for me, since I loved the bottle so much. I purchased a small portion the 1oz to test it out. I won't say that it doesn't have a good smell, however it isn't a smell for me. I believe it's the clementine and marjoram. I can see this being someone's favorite, just not mine. I like a softer woodsy spice. This one is a bit more pungent. I gave five starts because of the apparent quality, a scent doesn't deserve less because it doesn't fit my personal taste. Well-crafted Mr. Varvatos.

I absolutely love this. I bought it for my husband and wear it myself on occasion around the house because I just love how it smells. I’m a big fan of John Varvatos scents. They are different, last all day, and smell great. This one has a beautiful bottle, too!

This is a really great, clean and unique scent... that I think is perhaps not for everyone. I would say each of the elements are fairly easily identifiable while blending together to form a very fresh, citrusy/soapy smell that remains consistent. This reacts well with my chemistry, but I imagine it might be a bit too punchy for some, despite fading (but never disappearing) throughout the day. That said, this, along with the other Artisan fragrances are totally appropriate for the office (but especially this one) as they are not offensive in the slightest. Given the price, I'd say it's worth a blind buy for sure. The bottle is cool, but the vaporizer could be better.
