Serge Lutens Santal Majusculemen

I really like this one. When first sprayed on my skin it can smell a little sharp but then immediately it starts drying down and mellows out. That's when the magic happens. It smells strongly of rose and sandalwood at equal measures on my skin. Then the cocoa in the background really ties it together. Even though it only has 3 notes, it isn't bland to me whatsoever. I think it's beautiful fragrance and it really shines in colder weather. Performance is great. I think both mean and women can wear this. Although it does lean slightly more feminine on my skin. Serge Lutens has become one of my favorite houses. The scents are unique with great performance. And I love the shape and simplicity of the bottles. Even if one of his fragrances isn't for me, I still appreciate the artistry and stories behind them. Truly a great house!

Almost done with my second bottle. I wear this to bed or naptime every day of my life. It is the most cozy, comforting scent I've ever experienced; so luscious, creamy, and sultry on the nose. Oddly, I happily wear it to bed, in both cool weather and warm Southern California nights. This is a must have for me.

One of my absolute favorite fragrances by far. The simplicity of the scents three main notes lends a depth that is surprising. The powdery notes are not too overwhelming. what shines through the most for me, is the beautiful combination of damask rose and sandalwood. Very uplifting and seductive.

i orginally bought a full bottle that snells sweet and warm. i thought this would be something most men would wear. i like it on a man. but i just bought a travel spray for a man and he hated it.
