I got the travel size to try it out and now I'm in love!! You get a blast of that "Lipsticky" smell in the opening from the Iris note but it softens in the mid and balances out to create a beautiful yet masculine dry down. I think I like this more than Dior Homme which this is very similar to. Can't wait till they get bigger bottles in!

This is my favorite cologne and I use to always order the big sized bottle, but it seems as if it has been discontinued for months, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring it back, I check every week hoping that it's back!

VALENTINO UOMO INTENSE EAU DE PARFUM BY VALENTINO I own over 80 different fragrances, designer and niche. I’m on my 40s, average guy, I dress formally during the day and casual/sport in the evenings and weekends. I’m not a fragrance expert but I had a chance to wear many of them. These are my thoughts on this fragrance. This is another fragrance for those that are 30 and over, it falls within the same category of other fragrances such as Terre D'hermes Parfum Spray By Hermes, Guerlain L'homme Ideal Eau De Parfum By Guerlain, Gentleman Eau De Parfum By Givenchy And Declaration Men Eau De Toilette By Cartier. They are OK fragrances, from the perspective of the average user, those that are no fragrance experts, all of these fragrances will smell the same, and that makes it clear that this fragrance is not unique, it has no wow factor associated to it. This one mixes leather with spicy notes and a bit of citrus, as it dries down these notes remain to provide a type of formal fragrance, a bit old school. Wow Rating: 6/10 Yuck Rating: 4/10 Uniqueness: 5/10 Projection: 6/10 Longevity: 6/10 Ideal for: Casual, formal. Recommendation: There are many fragrances like this, nice smell, spicy, somehow elegant but not unique, not special, they don’t offer any wow effect. Don’t buy. Better alternatives: Paco Rabanne 1 Million Prive or Lucky, Bleu de Chanel.
