To my amateur nose... On it's own, a slightly boozy, balsamic, benzoin-centric linear scent. The little bit of oud is medium-soft and not smoky or animalic. The vanilla helps round the fragrance and add a touch of sweetness. Too simplistic to make any kind of statement. A solid skin scent fragrance (for cooler or cold seasons). The sillage is nice. If you're just working away on the computer or lounging around watching something on the big screen or whatever, you'll catch hints of it in the air and it's nice. If you get up and move, it will trail behind you and swirl up and around. If you like to layer, this would be a useful bottle to have. I enjoy masculine vanillas and this was unique to my nose so I purchased a bottle. Autumn/Winter indoor wear. Lazy days. Informal/family holiday events where you have no desire to stand out. 6/10 overall - linear, masculine-leaning benzoin
