I used to wear this perfume all the time men and women would come up and ask me what is that sent you wearing?? I actually called it my magic brew. At the clubs my friend would get furious because men would come up and say ,"Oh but you smell as beautiful as you look" LOL .

Dolce Vita is a Gorgeous, Very Unique and Sophisticated perfume. They don't make it like that any longer. However, it was originally issued only in EDT, (I still have 1/4 of bottle from 2001). It has a killer staying power, never mind for EDT. I treasure it!!!!! Therefore, the current version of EDT is different from EDT originally released back in 1995. It has less of silage, less of spicy, it is more mild, more tamed; however, still beautiful. If you haven't experienced the Old version of Dolce Vita you probably would not tell a difference. Enjoy this wonderful fragrance!

I am so glad to find the fragrance again. I started using Dolce Vita the moment it was introduced. Because this is the EDT it doesn't last as long as the EDP I used in the past. I tend to gravitate towards a scent that is reminiscent of incense. This is pretty close with a floral/vanilla/cedar scent. In my opinion, the cedar is prominent but I like that.

If you like spicy florals this is a great perfume. I wore it for years. It has a warm dry down and is perfect for Autumn days. I love several Dior perfumes, especially spicy one like Hypnotic Poison.

I used to buy this for my wife locally, but apparently Dolce Vita was pulled out of all retail locations. I've had to resort to the internet for well over a dozen years now. A few times I got ripped off by counterfeit sellers, but I found FragranceNet, and they sell the genuine product. I've been a regular customer for quite a few years, and buy my wife several bottles of this each year (mostly for special occasions like Valentine Day, Birthday, Christmas, Anniversary, etc), but every so often "just because". I'm not good at saying what scents smell like. But, to me, it kind of has a vanilla-ish scent, and it smells good on my wife. It lasts all day, but isn't overwhelming, even after initial application. It also survives her trips to the tanning bed, and still smells nice after that. Because of the scarcity of this fragrance, we have found a couple other scents that she rotates with Dolce Vita, but Dolce Vita is still her favorite of the lot, and mine too. This was her exclusive scent when we first met. Not gonna say it's what attracted me to her, but it certainly didn't hurt!
