I purchased the Rose because I love the Boubon. But what really draws me to this scent is the tobacco. To me, there is a balance between femininity and masculinity in this scent. The rose and tobacco is a perfect blend. I can see a strong confident woman wearing this perfume.

Nirvana Rose is a very complex scent. My fav. In this line is toss up between Nirvana Black & Nirvana Bourbon. Unfortunately, I don't smell any rose. I get some tobacco and a light powdery-floral, but not rose. This is a wonderful scent though! It's probably not something you'd wear to the office, unless you're daring. But it is a 'comfy' scent. It's a must-try for Nirvana fans!

Very dark cologne scent. It reminds me of my Papa who always smelled like Irish Spring soap, the cedar room in their home, and catholic church. It lasts several hours. I don't like it alone, but layered with sweet rosey scents is nice.

Nirvana rose is a slightly musky powdery clean fresh cozy rose. I guess some would declare sexy, but not in a flashy way. I think can be worn anytime, but maybe not the heat of summer. Work place safe and a good one for night time too. I can spray once and good to go, so do not over apply. The scent ingredients alone are calming which is perfect for type A or anxious personalities. Reminds me of Stella McCartney before the dry down, but once settled is more similar to Kim Kardashian Gold or her first signature perfume, and very very similar to the sadly discontinued Victoria’s Secret Velvet Amber BlackBerry.
