This is a really interesting perfume. It opens w/ a strong banana leaf and pear accord. Once that settles down it becomes more floral w/ lots of champaca, which is a relative to gardenia. Then it becomes spicy w/ cardamom combined w/ creamy milk and vanilla. The dry down completes the journey w/ a beautiful spicy amber musk. This is discontinued now since the house of Patou is no more and that is a shame. Stock up while you can, this is a fun summer fragrance while still being sophisticated.

Sira des Indes is simply stunning. My absolute favorite fragrance after Mon Guerlain, but Sira is more subtle. The champaca, banana leaf, pear, cardamom combo settles down to a warm, milky, vanilla, amber-musk combination. Smells like an Indian tea garden or a creamy smooth chai latte. Slight similarity to Muse by Rochas but Sira is far superior. Buy it now before it's gone forever. It's a masterpiece of perfumery!

This is such a unique fragrance and somewhat of a new genre. An oriental that is wearable year round. It smells wonderful in the warmer months, but just as delicious in the colder months too. With creamy florals, light spices, and luscious fruit, I feel like I am experiencing the scents of an exotic market somewhere in India, Africa, or the Middle East. Just beautiful!
