This perfume has me so deeply confused. I shouldn't like this. My brain immediately classifies this as a "grandma" scent, because it is very reminiscent of perfumes that 2 of my grandmothers wore, most likely because of the strong powdery note. BUT, there is something about the scent that I keep coming back to. Like all PDM fragrances it is beautifully crafted and balanced. To me, it smells like a luxurious conditioning treatment you would get at a salon, floral, powdery, musky, with some amber thrown in there, and I just can't stop wanting to smell it. I have the sample size and it is almost empty. I almost never do that with samples. Which tells me that even though my brain is baffled by this perfume, I really, really like it. I like it so much that I am almost certainly going to be ordering a full sized bottle. For those of us that use perfumes as mood adjusters, this would be a perfect bedtime perfume or something that you would want to wear when you want to project an aura of calm, cozy, and safe. Other than Althair, this is now my favorite PDM fragrance. That being said this is not a safe blind buy. I love it, but it took me half the sample bottle to figure that out. It is one of those fragrances that it takes your brain a little while to come to terms with.
