For Polo
by Ralph Lauren
I admire what Polo Green represents, but I think it comes across more forceful on me than I like and my wife doesn't particularly like pine scents. It's certainly rugged and confident, but I prefer masculine scents without the edge that this one has. That said, it's good, just not for me.

I have been using "Polo Green" for damn near 40 Years.... It is I believe My Scent, and everyone tells me that it was made just for me... I can't imagine using anything else.... When people give me cologne on special occasions, I usually re-gift it to other people I don't like.... (don't tell anyone....) When we are on the track at our community center the older women and men follow me and tell me they just want to smell me.... I'm cute too in an older way (69-ish) but if it gets me followers..... Well, it's Polo for me......

Polo Green by Ralph Lauren isn't just cologne—it's a **timeless secret agent** in a emerald bottle, and damn if it hasn't aged like a fine martini (shaken, not stirred, of course). I've been loyal to this green legend since my teens, back when mullets were cool and I thought "forever" meant until the next weekend. Now in my fifties, with more silver in the hair and wisdom in the wallet, I can confirm: this stuff never goes old. The scent stays sharp, commanding, and magnetic—everybody always **stays** a little longer when I'm around, leaning in like they've caught a whiff of intrigue. Spray it on, and boom: you're hit with that signature green blast—juniper berries, basil, artemisia charging like 007 dodging lasers in a pine forest. Then the heart rolls in: real pine needles (the kind that make you feel like you've been hunting villains in Scotland), leather that's been broken in on a Aston Martin seat, a sly touch of tobacco, pepper for bite, and carnation adding that spicy edge. The base? Oakmoss, patchouli, cedar, vetiver, musk, and amber settle in deep, earthy, and smoky—like a gentleman's club after a long night of high-stakes poker. It's woody, spicy, masculine power in a bottle: no watered-down modern fluff here, just pure, unapologetic swagger. Longevity? Nuclear. One or two sprays and you're trailing confidence (and maybe a faint Christmas tree vibe) for hours—perfect for closing deals, charming at dinners, or just making the room wonder who's the guy who smells like success wrapped in leather and pine. Compliments roll in non-stop: women get closer, men give that approving nod like they've spotted a fellow operative. In my decades of wearing it, the magic hasn't faded—it's one of the **best smells on a man**, period. Timeless doesn't even cover it; this is the fragrance equivalent of a tuxedo that fits better every year. Sure, some purists grumble about reformulations making it a touch less beastly than the vintage beasts of the '80s, but the current version still roars with that classic Polo DNA—green, bold, and undeniably sexy. If you've been debating a signature scent that says "I've got stories, style, and zero time for nonsense," grab the green bottle. It's not just cologne; it's your license to smell legendary. **Verdict: 10/10 shaken, not stirred.** Wear Polo Green, own the room, and watch heads turn like you're walking out of a Bond film. Because in a world of fleeting trends, this one's forever cool.
