Dior Homme 2020 smells amazing early morning! Best one to wake up to. I use the original or parfum/intense during the afternoon and evenings.

This fragrance is dark with the leather and woody notes , but it lightens with the rose. The performance is pretty good. It’ll certainly last around 5 or 6 hours, which I can’t complain for an EDT. It’s very alluring and mature. I’d recommend for the office or a date. The shipping took a bit long for me, but the product is good.

I ordered this specifically because of the iris and leather notes that are added in the scent, unfortunately I was sent the 2020 formulation without either of those notes in it. So the rating I gave doesn’t necessarily reflect the way I feel about the scent, but more so the “mix up” on FragranceNet’s end.

The first time I bought this many years ago, I thought it was like gold and it wore well on me. Unfortunately, the last bottle I bought seemed different. The initial opening is nice and woody, but the dry down has a metallic note that I can't really place and after a couple of hours I really can't smell it anymore. Not sure if this was reformulated or is it just me.
