This was a blind buy, and it's not bad... it's not special either. Still, for the price it's a great vanilla scent. It seems linear to my nose; not much in the transition and dry down. Nonetheless I like the scent. It's a very nice, slightly gourmand fragrance. Not cloying, slightly sweet, and on my skin, a fair sillage. To my nose it smells a bit like Obsession or Choco Musk. Nothing stellar here, but it will work as a layering scent for other fragrances. At this price point... I'm happy with the purchase.

This is my second scent from Mauboussin. This is rich and so intoxicating. You will love it. Breathe taking good. Try it you will love love this. Winter scent rich robust. People will notice you .

I ordered two extra bottles after I got down to 1/4 left on my 1st. I thought the fragrance was very nice right from the start but it matures into the richest most beautiful almost edible but not in a gourmand way exactly. Addictive is more like it. It became soooooo nice after 30-40 days it’s hard to not keep topping off now. You smell it and you want to smell it more intensely is a good way to put it. I wrote a review saying great blind buy for 30-35 y/o and up but really any age would love this perfume especially when it matures fully. It’s not a great buy for 28.00, I’d pay a couple hundred for it honestly. It’s that good. In my top 5-10 fragrances out of my 250+ collection. So definitely safe blind buy for anyone. Can’t see not loving this scent and has 2-4 feet projection with 6 hours longevity but my skin eats perfumes so most people will see far better performance and even with my skin ph it’s still wonderful. Hope they never stop making it! That said maybe I should get another couple bottles! LOL!

Love this fragrance. Doesn’t seem like it would be a gourmand and not necessarily is but gives that rich, addictive, comforting, feeling on dry down. It lasts well but I do over spray comparably speaking. The bottle is beautiful but then this is a fine jewelry designer as its main line of business so makes sense. Definitely worth the $30 and I’d say this safe blind buy territory for anyway over 30-35 years old!
