OH MY! This will end up known as an iconic fragrance and not just in the Lattafa portfolio. Easily one of the most incredible perfumes of all time! So, so sophisticated and beautiful! While it is a complex, very ambery scent perfect for Fall/Winter but it’s just too good to put up for warmer weather. I don’t think I have ever said get this fragrance in your collection you are going to love it but I can’t imagine this not only being a well liked scent, no it’s going to be an absolute deep love!!! I cannot get enough of this scent and does it ever get compliments and without fail the questions”what is it, where can I get it, like NOW!” It’s that good and I don’t know if I have run into what has turned out to be mass appealing in a big way. It opens with an apple shi shi accord. That’s clear and first out of the notes you’ll clearly pick up. It comes in with a bold mix of winter spices and vanilla. I think I pick up on some tonke and mint too but I havent looked up the notes and accords. I like to review perfumes with what I get while not being influenced with looking up what the blend is. Lavender is definitely here as well but very well done, not powdery or masculine in any way. The blend is ridiculously smooth like butter sliding the notes and accords back and forth seamlessly without effort. As mentioned while I know this perfume has quite a number of accords that would suggest it being complex, it’s not a hard scent to understand. It’s truly an effortless wear and easy reach for nearly all occasions. The only time I wouldn’t pull this fragrance is wearing it to the gym or out running where you’ll be perspiring. I think only freshies are well suited for really high activities like this. You may want to also consider really being light on the trigger for very hot days as well as scents tend to really project when we heat up. Other than that you’re good to go. I think the sophistication of this perfume is matched by very few scents I’ve run across and make it smell very expensive or at least it was one of the first thoughts that hit me when smelling this on skin. Projection is very good the first 90 minutes to two hours and sillage is excellent leaving a very long scent trail. You won’t be able to hide wearing this one!
