men
Introduced in 1994, Insense Ultramarine by Givenchy is a daytime fragrance for men. The woodsy, watery tones are perfect for going from the office straight into the boardroom or your next luncheon. It is a clean, crisp masculine scent that gives off an air of sophistication and confidence. Spray the cologne on your pulse points right after your morning shower and it will last all day, even through your afternoon workout. The fragrance will turn heads without being overpowering.

Got this as a tester when i was shopping for a few bottles of cologne, was given it as an add on, after i told the shop lady i was a student and was shopping colognes on a specified budget. has fresh fruity notes, and has a spicy middle note which last longs...its more on the fresh side and can be used during the night as well..Overall worth purchasing

Insense Ultramarine by Givenchy smells nothing like the beautiful herbal original Insense. Insense Ultramarine smells very similar to Cartier's Declaration Essence, which is too stringent for me (some may like that quality). I do, however, absolutely love the original Declaration by Cartier! I don't know why Givenchy decided to discontinue the original Insense (gold liquid) and keep Insense Ultramarine. The original Insense was much more unique and long-lasting, and its herbal quality was unlike any other fragrance out there. I am in the hopes that someday Givenchy will relaunch the original Insense in the future. When Insense first came out it was one of my all-time favorites (along with Moods by Krizia, Sybaris by Puig, Red for Men by Giorgio Beverly Hills, Gucci Rush for Men, Boss Spirit by Hugo Boss, etc.). Since FragranceNet is great at acquiring hard-to-find fragrances, perhaps they will "find" some of the original Insense somewhere (fingers crossed).

Insense Ultramarine is just so so. I wish this had been the discontinued one instead of the original Insense (gold liquid), which had a beautiful herbal fragrance. I miss the original Insense and with that Givenchy would bring it back.
