Enrico Coveri is the first Italian to tread prêt à porter catwalks in Paris. At the age of just 25, on his first appearance on the Parisian scene, he earned the title of "enfant prodige" of Italian fashion. The Herald Tribune in 1978 wrote about the Coveri collection: “Irony and a sense of color characterize one of the most beautiful collections in Paris." His innovative style strongly focuses on elements that will remain the cornerstones of Enrico Coveri's fashion: Paillettes, Color, and Prints. The latter, until then used exclusively in theaters, became his «signature piece».
