L'Artisan Parfumeur Fragrances

Refine Your Selection

L'Artisan Parfumeur was founded in Paris in 1976 by the perfumer Jean Laporte. It was one of the original smaller fragrance house, now known as "niche" brands, which operated independently and emphasized creativity and craftsmanship. To this day, L'Artisan Parfumeur works with top perfumers who use high-quality ingredients and who share a gift for storytelling through scent. Some of L'Artisan Parfumeur's fragrances are based on classical perfumery concepts like mimosa flowers or amber. Others, like the cult classic Mure et Musc (launched in 1976), are unprecedented blends of notes. L'Artisan Parfumeur has released nearly a hundred fragrances over its history, including limited edition summer scents, a series of fragrances inspired by travel to faraway places (Timbuktu, Dzongkha, and others), the personalized Mon Numero collection (2011), and the sensual Explosions d'Emotions collection (begun in 2013). L'Artisan Parfumeur's offers inventive compositions for men and for women, as well as many fragrances than can be worn by either gender. The brand is also acclaimed for its scented candles and other forms of home fragrance. What unites all the products is an attention to detail and a skill at merging tradition and contemporary taste. L'Artisan Parfumeur was recently acquired by Puig, an international beauty and fragrance company.
