Norell Fragrances

The American fashion designer, Norman Norell was famous for his feminine and sophisticated style and design. Having studied in the illustrious Parsons School of Design, New York, Norell started his career as a costume designer for Paramount Pictures and on Broadway, New York City. Hired by the fashion designer, Hattie Carnegie, his career grew and he won the prestigious Coty Fashion Award. He established the fashion company Traina-Norrell after having partnered with Antony Traina. The elegant and well-made dresses and evening wear were well received by Parisian designers. He was the first American designer with a dress label and also produced the American fragrance, Norell that was quite popular.
