Jessica McClintock Fragrances
The Jessica McClintock name launched its first fragrance in select Macy’s stores in 1988. The name sake women’s fragrance, designed by Roure Bertrand Dupont, was a light twist of lemon citrus, basil, rose and jasmine. Notably, the fragrance was not licensed to a fragrance or cosmetics company, but instead produced by the company itself. It was joined in 1992 by the brand’s first men’s fragrance, Scott McClintock. Named after Jessica’s son, the scent was a potent mixture of incense, flowers and spice. Other popular scents for the brand now include New Victorian, Gunne Sax, the bridal-inspired Jessica McClintock Silk Ribbons, and 2001’s Jessica McClintock #3, a fresh, watery scent featuring fruits and lilac.
